Finally. FINALLY. I suffered over this one. Analysis Paralysis was strong – I agonized over just the right training class mix – Wordpress, Twitter, Gmail. It’s all there. I’m really happy about this month’s calendar.

So, for those that don’t know (and really? how could you not – I have a big mouth) I’m relaunching TravelWebMarketing.com to be the definitive marketing resource for the travel industry – with training classes, email tips (I’m shooting for DAILY – but, we’ll see. It might be 3x a week) and a lot of interactive discussion. Took me all summer to get the core programming done.

Speaking of core programming – let me show you under the hood. It’s kinda sweet.

WordPress, of course, powers the site – with a membership plugin that hooks into Paypal. If you’re all paid up, you can see everything on the site. If not, then it’s locked down. No intervention from me.

Using FormSpring all the individual registrations are processed automatically. The data goes into Highrise to track who is taking what class, and also into Google Docs spreadsheet so I can sort attendance numbers and plan for the next months class. FormSpring also adds the info into MailChimp – get this – WITH an autoresponder to remind participants the day before the class.

I love cloud computing. So simple. Everything talks to one another and plays nice.
