We recently sent out a campaign of over 1000 emails to known customers in our database. All of whom were either personal contacts or had signed up via our online signup forms. Out of those 1000+ emails, 6 people marked the email as spam, 6 out of over 1000 -- And Godaddy suspended the account and wanted to purge our entire database and make our customers all opt in all over again. This is such a joke. This was once a good company, but they really have turned to crap. I strongly recommend that everyone go over to AIT for hosting and Fuse for email. Both of those companies put the customer first - not their own agendas. Godaddy, your services aren't worth the bandwidth you market them over. Go daddy is a fraud.
